Full Day Alto Mayo

07:30 – 8:00 am: Pickup at your Hotel and Departure to Moyobamba
Start the day with pickup at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 am. Departure to Moyobamba, the “City of Orchids.”

Visit to the Orchid Garden and Learning about Orchids
Upon arrival in Moyobamba, we will explore the city’s orchid garden, guided by experts who will share fascinating details about these beautiful flowers.

Exploration in Rioja: Birth of the Tioyacu River and Refreshing Bath
We will continue to Rioja, where we will witness the birth of the Tioyacu River and have the opportunity to refresh ourselves and enjoy a revitalizing bath in its waters.

Tasting at Chakra Vieja
We will visit Chakra Vieja, where we can taste typical drinks from the region, immersing ourselves in local culture and flavors.

Relaxation at San Mateo Hot Springs
Our day will continue at the San Mateo hot springs, where we will relax our body and mind in pools with temperatures ranging from 38 to 43 degrees Celsius.

7:30 pm: Return to Tarapoto
After our tour, we will head back to Tarapoto in our vehicle, concluding this enriching expedition through Moyobamba and its natural wonders.

Check out Hotel: 12:00 pm (You can store your luggage at the Hotel).

Laguna Azul Tour
9:00 am: Pickup from the Hotel:
We will begin our exciting day departing from your hotel in Tarapoto heading to the beautiful district of Sauce.

10:00 am: Cross the Huallaga River on a Raft:
During your exciting journey to Laguna Azul, you will have a unique experience crossing the majestic Huallaga River on a raft.

Once on the other side, you will arrive at the Punta Gallinazo viewpoint, where you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Huallaga River and its surrounding landscapes.

This adventure will give you the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the region while crossing this important Peruvian river.

11:00 am: Laguna Azul – Sauce:
Upon arriving in Sauce, we will board a motorboat to start the tour of Laguna Azul, a natural treasure.

Marvel at the variety of green and blue tones of the lagoon while observing birds such as herons, kingfishers, sachapatos, eagles, and exploring the rich fauna that inhabits its waters.

We will then visit local artisans before tasting the alcoholic beverages produced in the San Martin region.

01:00 pm Typical Lunch:
We will enjoy a delicious typical lunch in a natural setting, savoring the authentic cuisine of the region.

02:00 pm Free Time to Enjoy:
After lunch, you will have free time to relax in hammocks, take a refreshing bath in Laguna Azul, or participate in water sports if you wish. (jet ski, kayak, canopy, among others)

04:00 pm: Return to the City of Tarapoto:
Finally, we will embark on the journey back to the city of Tarapoto, taking with us the memories of an unforgettable day at Laguna Azul.
